No Excuses Sampler

So, some of you know about what's been going on in my life lately, but everyone's got something, right? The bottom line is that I am feeling the need to share some pics and happenings of my wonderful family. Thinking about them and all of the great blessings I have been given really helps me to stay hopeful and have peace when my natural tendency in life is to dwell on the what-ifs and bummers. I love my husband, my children, my life and I want everyone to know it, even at the expense of having to see blog entry after blog entry about how special my husband and children are! Here's to the good things in life!---or more specifically here's a hodge podge of the last month that I haven't touched the blog.

Here is my beautiful Maj-Lis at 9 Months old. Okay, so she turns 10 months tomorrow, but I had to get these on here. Say what you will about the flower on her head, but doesn't she look absolutely precious? At 9 Months, she is turning into quite the eater. She has bounced back up into the 0-5 percentile for weight and with those cheeks, you would never guess how petite she is. She has become an ecellent drag-crawler with this little one knee scooting move to produce the high speeds necesary for keeping up with her brothers. She is getting good at picking things up with two fingers. She loves being thrown in the air. She babbles mamamamama at random and loves being held. She loves being outside and feeling the breeze in her tiny hairs. Everyone comments on what a good nature she has. She is so calm and just goes with the flow, but you can also see that she is going to be a very observant kiddo. She loves playing with the building supplies from her brothers' construction set. Everyone at church calls her mini Catherine. (Partly because many of them avoid saying her name, but for those that really think she looks like me, I just eat it up.

Here is Hudson asleep on Jared's shoulders after a long day of hiking at "Enchanted Rock"

Here is Maj-Lis with one of those little fish from the little fishing game. She still sucks her thumb, but not as much. Here the fish is taking the place of her thumb.
Here are the boys playing together one morning. They really are best friends---sooo cute!
