Halloween--Finally!

If your son came to you and said he wanted to be a garbage man for Halloween, what would you do?-----Granted, I had over a month's notice of this request, but my artistic/sewing capabilities leave much to be desired. So, just like in the 4th grade when my mom stayed up until midnight creating my dinosaur diarama, the Monday before Halloween, I took over some fabric to mom and pleaded with her to create something that would transform Tanner into his hero--the garbage man. A garbage bag stuffed with a pillow and and one yellow Seattle Sonics hat later, we had a costume. Tanner wanted his picture with the garbage man so we threw on the costume again and viola! Hudson, agreeable as usual, downgraded his request from being a Monster Truck to being a "Monster Beetle" (we already had a beetle costume) What a trooper. Then there is sweet Maj-Lis. We decided to forgoe the costume on her first Halloween and just go for cute.
