Wow, what luck for someone with my extreme germaphobia to end up with the cutest daughter in the whole world, that just happens to be a chronic thumbsucker. We've tried everything we can think of. Every time she sticks her thumb in her mouth, we pull it out. Even the boys do it for us. We have bought every kind of binky (or paci as it is called here in Texas) produced in hopes we could get her hooked on that instead (much easier to sanitize and take away when they get older.) The doctor suggested giving her a stuffed animal or blanket to hold to sooth herself. We've tried it all. I offer a plea to anyone with advice. HELP! I keep trying to remember that there is one small upside. Since she started sucking her thumb she increased her sleeping time at night from 4-5 hours to 9-10 hours.---------Okay, update--Jared just got back from the pharmacy with some crazy nail polish made out of cayenne pepper that he wants me to put on Maj-Lis' thumb. I don't want to do it, but I am desperate. Someone help us please!

I know what you can do! Let her suck her thumb. It builds character! :)
Oh and it will only deform her teeth a little bit, nothing braces will not be able to fix.
