Maj-Lis' Blessing Weekend

Okay, I'm aware that it's been over a month since I've updated the blog.--Everyone has reminded me of that, but it has been a busy month. Having three children has been wonderful---exhausting, but wonderful! Maj-Lis has such a peaceful spirit. If the day is crazy and I'm about to lose my mind at 5:00 before Jared gets home, I just have to hold Maj-Lis close and it calms me down. It is really wonderful having her in our family. This past Sunday was her blessing in church. Jared's parents, as well as his Grandma Lois and step-Grandpa Pete were able to come from California. My parents came up from Bastrop and our good friends Todd and Julie came with their three boys from Kyle, TX for the day. It was a beautiful blessing and it was such a special experience to have both our dads there for the blessing. My Mom made a beautiful blessing dress for Maj-Lis. She looked like an angel. After church we came home and had a feast, which featured baby back ribs that my dad smoked himself. They were soooo good--well worth the 6 hours of preparation. The day before the blessing, we all went to my parents' house in Bastrop. The record for oldest person to ride the zip-line was shattered by 89 1/2 year old Pete. I held my breath the whole time------No fractured pelvis and he loved it. The boys love having a sister. Hudson says about 10 times a day "she's so cute" and Tanner says I'm going to "Botect" her. He means protect. What a great time for our family!

I can't believe you have as many kids as I do! (I don't know why, but it seems weird to me.) Maj-Lis' is ADORABLE!!! It looks like you have a ton of fun with her. And your boys are getting so big too. Isn't it crazy how time flies?
