Happy Birthday Jared!

August 31 was Jared's birthday. I don't know how to do any cool slide shows of sentimental pictures or cool graphics of birthday balloons or play favorite songs on the blog. I am definitely a preschooler in the world of blogging, but I wanted to share a little something about Jared to let everyone know what a catch I have for a husband. So, in honor of his 31st birthday, here is a list of things I love about Jared, or things you may not know about him.----------------

10.)Jared doesn't actually read the words written in children's books. He just makes up funny stuff to go with the pictures

9.)He loves making funny sounds when he is excited about something--like yee-ha, whooeee, and woohoo.

8.) He tells people all the time that I am a gourmet chef--even though I'm not. (He'll eat anything I put in front of him, except broccoli. He just can't go that far!)

7.) He is kind to everyone

6.) He loves cheese or peanut butter on just about anything. Maybe that's why he loves peanut butter quesadillas. Don't knock it until you've tried it.

5.) He is the most positive man in the world

4.) He is every kid's favorite scout leader

3.) He lets me micromanage every project we ever do at home. (I drive him crazy, but he would never say it.)

2.) He roughhouses with the boys every day after work, even when I know he is exhausted.

1.) He is a big kid at heart, but is the best example of a man that I could ever ask for our boys.
