All for the parents

Seriously, when you dress up a bunch of preschoolers in caps and gowns and have a full fledged graduation ceremony complete with diploma----they do that all for the parents. As silly as the concept really is--- It was PRICELESS! Tanner looked so handsome. He proudly walked to the stage to receive his diploma. They had each of the kids tell what they want to be when they grow up. If you had asked Tanner the day before, what he wanted to be when he grew up he would undoubtedly say garbage man/scientist. On the day of graduation, he caved and followed the crowd of more dominant 5 year old boys and said "policeman." Hmmm. One girl from his class (out of almost 100 kids at the school ) said she wanted to be a mom. Everyone cheered. I felt extra happy inside because I knew that she is LDS. Dad commented that she is likely to be the only one out of that whole group that ends up being what she said. Anyway, it was a great night. Mom and Dad came up for the evening. We ate at firehouse subs (complete with fire hats) and ended the night with chocolate cupcakes with vanilla frosting--Tanner's request. What a good boy. He really is so obedient and kind. We're proud of you buddy!

Look at that face and leg--could he look any more posed?
